Green Goddess Dressing is a fresh condiment blended with creamy mayonnaise, sour cream, and an abundance of herbs that give it its green colour. This salad dressing recipe was first created at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco to honour a play. The best part of this dressing is its simplicity and multi-functionality. It can be used as a dipping sauce for potato fries; as a sandwich or burger spread; and, of course, as a salad dressing. If you have leftover herbs in your refrigerator, don't let them go to waste; instead, make this delicious American dressing.

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Blend The Dressing

In a blender bowl (or a food processor), add sour cream, mayonnaise, mixed herbs, anchovy paste, lemon juice, black pepper and salt to taste. Then blend it for 1 to 2 minutes. Ensure that the herbs are finely chopped before proceeding. Now, if you want to enjoy it as a dip, serve it as it. And if you are making it for salad dressing, you need to add some water to it.
